I did it.
Finally I could re-install the two gas shocks that keep the engine cover open.
I had to rotate the metal locks that are at the end of the gas shocks.

mkp you have to use a heli coil ,it will reverse thread into what it left of the bolt and then you will be able to take it out ,after you tape it ,spray it with something to help free up the bolt.goodluck
Thank you for your advice, I'll try it.

In Topic: 1st Oil Change 08 Speedster 150 SC

Thank you Arow.Well i have and 07 Sportster and the book says 4 liters but you can only draw out around 3 or 3.5 liters. So i assume this is normal for Sea-doo engines. Due to having to suck it out and not draining it like a car engine primarily. Of course flushing the engine and then draining the oil helps to get more out. Sure you knew that howsever. Anyways good luck and have fun with your Doo.Did the first oil change on my new 08' Speedster 150 SC with 11 hours .
To draw out the used oil I use an special oil aspirator.
Although the catalog says that with oil filter change the total amount of oil is 4.5 liters I just could put 3.5 lts.
I checked the oil level several times and it was at the max. mark.
Is that normal ?
Thanks
Next oil change I'm gonna warm up the motor before.

Thank you SuperCharged.
Now I trust more in my new boat.
On sunday a plastic bug went in the water intake. To solve the problem I tried to take out the metal grid that protect the intake, by loosen 3 10mm bolts and one 13 mm bolt.
I couldn't loose the 13mm bolt, because after 2 turns the head of the bolt got broken. !!!!
It seems it came with some kind of bonder.
Now what can I do ?
The dealer is at 1,000 miles from here.
Thanks in advanced.
