I have not yet had a chance to use my 2007 180 Challenger but will be putting it in the water in two weeks. I have seen contradictory infomation regarding how much gas these boats eat. I have seen a few people write that they can spend half a tank of gas on 4 - 6 hours of use but I just saw something from boattest.com on YouTube that says they only get 3.15 MPG. If that is the case you would only get 2 - 3 hours of use on an entire tank.
What type of use have people typically gotten out of a tank of gas?

Gas Mileage in 180 Challenger?

Ceramic Washer Replacement
19 February 2008 - 03:15 PM
I purchased a new 2007 180 Challenger SE in the fall of last year. I have not taken out yet but have been doing a lot of reading. I understand that there is a good chance that the ceramic washers in the clutch assembly of the supercharger will go at some point. I called the dealership that I peruchased the unit from and asked them to order me a replacement kit for the washers either Stainless steel or titanium (I have been hearing both those types being thrown out there as the replacements). They called Seadoo who told them that they shouldn't go bad. They said that they have only heard of this problem with their PWC's because people wave jump and the RPM go really high while in the air and go way back down when they slam into the water. They said that if I were to order replacement washers that they would just send me another set of ceramic washers.
I live in the Philadelphia area but will be using the boat on the Chesapeake in Maryland. Does anyone know where I can get the SS or titanium washer replacements? Either a place that will install them or that I can at least buy them so the dealership can install them for me? Also will this voice an extended warranty?
