Thanks for the info and great pics, bob. I'll Look into that conversion. FYI, for anyone that has a '96 speedster, the shift lever for a '97 model WILL fit. Two different dealers said they didn't know. I called World of Power Sports and they didn't know either. They said I could order it and if it didn't fit I could send it back for a 20% restock fee so I took the gamble and ordered it. Fits perfect.
