Cool! I will be interested to find out!I was at a place called Royal Distributing on the weekend and they had 2 different Radar guns by Bushnell. I thought about checking one out, testing it on the boat and taking it back.......but my GPS unit will be here in a week so I will tell you the true MPH then.

Tiggerman,I think you missed it: I bought the fabric, took the old stuff off and made patterns, cut them out, sewed them up and reinstalled them. There is nothing OEM about them except the frame and cushion.
I was actually looking at an older post of yours before you decided to do the custom vinyl ...
"Any older DOO'ers reupholster their seats yet? Thinking about it? I'm about to DOO it to mine. The vinyl on the seat bottoms is beginning to rot, partly due to the previous owner failing to care for the interior. The seat backs are faded and stained on the top as well. I've got marine grade vinyl (bright yellow) on the way to my door, and am ready to get started. Go on the World of Powersports website and price the seat covers for any of the Seadoo boats. Pricey, aint they?!?!"
You had mentioned World of Powersports. I gave them a call but they can not get the covers. I guess I was just wondering if any one knew where I could get the OEM covers. Your custom job looks nice, but I think it would be more work than I want to take on.

Tiggerman,Thanks...... I would not undertake the job til the end of the season, or pre-season like I did.
The silver fabric on the arm rests and bewteen cushions is in excellent shape on my Doo, but the yellow was trash. Don't know why unless it is a different quality material.
You are going to find that the OEM covers are NOT cheap, even the little ones. Of course my new covers don't have any logo on them, but I'm cool with that. All I use to maintain the seats now is some 3M Vinyl Cleaner and Protector, sold at Wally World....
Where did you find the OEM vinyl seat covers? I called World of Power Sports, but they can not get them.
Thanks in advance!

Hey All,Can anyone tell me what the official documented top speed is of a 2004 160 Speedster, and is it faster than the new 200?
What really is the top speed you guys are getting out of your 160'S ... 65-70 MPH? ... come on, NO way! I have a '99 Speedster with the twin 110's and I am lucky to get 50 MPH (GPS'd) on a really calm day. I'm thinking pretty seriously about buying a 160 next Summer .... does any one have a radar gun or GPS'd top speed?
I sure wish SeaDoo would come out with an 18' boat that looks similar to our Speedsters with the new 4-Tec's ... 310 HP in an 18' boat would ROCK!
