I'm new to boating so forgive my ignorance. I just bought a 430hp 230 wake which in my mind translates to lots of power and speed. However, the fastest I've been able to get it to go is 40mph! I've checked the intake and it seems to be clear. It has less than 10 hours on the water so I can't imagine it's a mechanical problem. It has a 'perfectpass' system which I haven't even touched yet. Why is my boat so slow or am I expecting too much? Could the perfectpass system be slowing it down...also, it seems the left engine revs at much higher rpm's than the right. The left runs consistantly at ~7000 rpms while the right runs at ~3000.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
