Speedster oil
10 July 2016 - 09:07 AM
I just bought a 1995 speedster, the engines were rebuilt in 2014, and I know the mechanic. The owner I bought the boat from told me to mix 25:1 outboard oil with the gas to baby the engine. It does smoke heavily at start up. Any help is appreciated as this is my first jet boat, and so far the way it handles is fantastic. Do I continue to pre-mix my gas. I still have the bombardier mineral oil in the boat as well.
