I run in some very shallow waters on the Allegheny river so knowing the depth of the river is critical. I decided to put in a Faria depth finder that was close to the stock one that comes on the SE model. I also went with white so I could see it at just a glance while running at speed. Below are some of the pictures of the installation. The transducer is glued near the rear of the boat engine compartment with slow cure marine epoxy. The wires are run up the starboard side of the boat. I used a wire fish tape to find the way and to pull the wires forward. I tested several locations before this one and only got so so results. This location works at any speed. Enjoy!
Trying to remove dash for a 2011 challenger 180 for adding a depth finder. Older challengers have screws on the dash but not the 2011 model. If anyone knows how I would appreciate it, I don't want to start guessing and brake something!
