Hello:
Newbie here and thought I'd try my luck in getting any type of explanation. The other week while IN THE RIVER...I had noticed the throttle being stiff and remember saying to myself "man you need to figure out how to lube this cable" or something.
A few minutes later the throttle handle just moved effortlessly forward producing no forward momentum. The only thing the throttle handle did now was move the cowling up and down.
I deduced that somewhere the throttle cable had broken or similar. I took the rear cargo plastic tray out, exposing the fuel tank. I see the throttle cables, but I have NO IDEA how to access them/inspect them at the point where the throttle handle is.
In other words, I have no idea how to get to the point where the the throttle cables attach to the handle.
Does anyone have any advice for me please? I'd appreciate it. I noticed in this site there was some sort of recall regarding this?
Again, any help in understanding how to access the cables would be appreciated. Do I need to take off the entire driver-side panel?
