Since the new 230 boats have 8'9" beam, has any one had any problems with their local Department of Transportation in trailering it?
In CA, boats cannot be wider than 8'6", if wider, a permit is required to tow it on the highway. I would hate to think that each time you want to take out the new boat, you'd need to get and pay for a permit with the DOT!!! That would deter sales if people have to get a permit to tow it!!!
