As hard as it is for me to do, I must put my 2008 Seadoo Challenger 180 up forsale. I purchased this boat from the original owner who bought it as a left over in 2009/2010. He hardly used the boat due to a hectic work/family schedule. I own a Powersports company out here in CT so when I went to look at the boat, I brought my B.U.D.S with me to see what was in the computer. There were no codes, the boat infact had 19 hours on it, and when I looked at the RPM range, it NEVER went wide open throttle. As I do to all of my watercrafts, as soon as the boat came to my shop, the supercharger was removed, and rebuilt using seadoo's latest 200 hr kit. The stock supercharger wheel was removed in favor of a ET127 billet wheel. The impeller was replaced with a brand new Solas 14/19 a wear ring. I also purchased a brand new Hydro turf mat kit for the entire boat. I also had a brand new stereo system install. It has a Clarion head unit with Bluetooth and ipod control. It has 2 front and 2 rear 6.5" MTX Marine speakers and the fronts also have 2 MTX Marine tweeters, as well as one MTX marine 10" subwoofer and 2 MTX amplifiers. Also, in the rear of the boat is a controller for the radio off the swim deck, this is a very nice feature. The boat currently has 59 hours on it and is extremely clean ( I cant stress this enough) and reliable. Oil has been change religiously every 15 hours since ive owned it as well as the spark plugs. The boat remained inside a heated garage during the winter as well as when not being used in the summer.
Here are some of the items I have replaced under normal maintenance.
Supercharger was rebuilt with a new OEM seadoo rebuild kit (200hour)
Carbon seal, bellow, support collar, and c clip were replaced and have 15 hours on them
New Prop (solas) and a new Riva Racing Stainless wear ring.
