just thought I would give an update on this topic, we purchased the property and put the boat in last weekend and it performed very well, I checked the grate and only had 1 weed stuck in it but not enough to cause issues which was good because I didn't really want to buy a prop boat

I noticed you have asked this question a couple times on this forum and it doesn't look like anyone has answered it, I believe if you install a large capacitor to your system it would take a lot of the strain off your charging system as it will always have stored energy in it, I have a 2001 challenger that I just picked up and it has the mercury engine which to me is basically like a small car engine so the charging system would be similar, I'm looking to do a complete overhaul to the stereo too as its just not enough, I know you have the 2010 model so I'm not sure what rotax uses for there system but it would probably be similar, good luck
