Hi guys, I currently own a 97 seadoo gtx that I just purchased with my own money this past spring (high school student, made money doing 4 years of lawn service). It ran great all summer. Before this, my family owned a 1986 Renken 1750 that my family purchased new back in 1986. We sold it 4 years ago because the lower unit blew apart, and decided it would be better to get something a little smaller so it's easier to store but still have adequate power to pull a skier or tuber. The past 3 years we just rented jetskis before buying one this season. Now I miss my boat. I miss spending more than 15 minutes per ride on the lake rather than just cruising around for a couple hours and not going 40mph. I'm applying for jobs this fall, and being a student who has no substantial bills will have a pretty large discretionary income. Next spring I will start looking around for a 951 sportster or 4 tec sportster, depending on what fits my budget. Then will sell the jetski but only if I'm getting a boat.
