Hello to all - 

I just bought a 2003 Speedster 160 with 100 hrs of fresh water use and I'm really excited to learn alot from this site! The boat is immaculate with two very small issues...(1) was the tach didn't work, so after looking around a bit and checking for correct Voltage at the battery and the tach wiring harness, which was correct, i figured it was the tach. So I removed it and got a little rough with it...the needle was a little sticky so I kept tapping it with a small box wrench and noticed the needle started to move more and more....thought that was the right direction, so I plugged it in an Wha-la...it works!! I probably need to get it on the water to be sure it will read all the way through the revs as I know its not good to rev it on the hose. 

My other issue is my Bow Nav Light does not work...I removed it and verified power to the plug, and bulb looks fine as well. Even when I bench test it doesn't want to work so good...sometimes it will flash but as soon as I put it back together...nothing. Any advice would be appreciated!
