I am ALWAYS careful of dock line, its bad enough being in the Delaware River in Philly with a Jet Drive
Speedster where its nothing to suck up a chip bag, a sick pack holder etc.. Dirty Delaware but anyway
while cruising the other night as fast as I could grab it, the dock line blew over and right up the intake it went
Does anyone have any suggestions how to get it out, has this happended to anyone else that can give some advise
Thanks
Yea, I had this happen with a wakeboard rope right when I got my boat, I just cut it out little by little with a really sharp knife well I was in the water, so it took a long time of holding my breath and making a few cuts and then coming back up. Hopefully you can get yours out and do it out of the water. You may, if the rope got sucked way in, have some impeller damage, I just experienced this when I sucked up a small piece of trash rope that was floating in the bay. See my post on impeller repair for this info and costs if you do have that damage http://seadoosportbo...pair-t2032.html. Good luck.
