Sucks for sure, but does this make anyone wish they had bought or consider looking at yamaha?

Hello Jeff! We are often out on the thousand Islands also in our new to us '02 Utopia-its as great place for these boats. As to winterization, our boat was fogged, fluids changed, and with gas stabilizer, we didn't have a problem .

Only a mile from Lake Ontario so we go into the St Lawrence and 1000 islands or Bay of Quinte.
