In Topic: SOUND SYSTEM UPGRADE FOR 2010 180 CHALLENGER SE
07 May 2012 - 09:55 PM
I just added the Kenwood Kmr-440u with two Polk DB651s speakers in the front and two DB651 speakers in the back to replace the clarion OEM's. All sounds really great and lots of base with out a sub woofer. I also added the KCA-RC60MR wired remote to replace the Clarion one in the same hole in the dash, with minor mods to fit the mounting studs. I also used the ground and illumination wires from the old remote for the new one. Pulled the power from the radio toggle switch in the dash. I was hesitant on what components to use for this upgrade and read a lot of posts and reviews. The polk speakers sound really nice and the Kenwood deck was under 100 bucks through Amazon with the latest hook ups (USB and Ipod, Aux). The addition of the front speakers is great.
In Topic: How to guide for 2nd Battery for 2010 180 SE

Wow, that is really nice, nice pictorial. I was thinking of just moving my single battery location back to where you put your second so that I could put more storage closer to the hatch on that side, maybe to put the boat fenders and anchor in to free up the other areas. Thanks for the great idea and explanation. I look forward to another reason to go back to Harbor freight!!!
In Topic: Center Console Hatch Installation for more Dry Storage Space

Did you ever instal the rectangular hatch under the glove box? I did install a couple of the sterilite bins in the ski locker for dry storage. That works well.
