Looking at installing a 2nd battery as well as a few other things. I have a nut-sert gun if needed but was not sure what was the best way to secure equipment to the inside of the boat was. Thanks for the advice.

Anything I need to look at before I hand over the funds?
Does $8100 sound great, fair, or overpriced?

Looking at 99' Speedster SK

Like the title sound have a boat here that has not been started for the past 2 1/2 years. Spoke to the guy selling it and he has taken it to a local boat shop that is going to replace battery, rebuild carbs, change fuel, and several other things. Something like $800 worth of work. Boat has no external damage that I can tell and good compression as well. Anything else I should be looking for? He has said around 4k is what he is looking for, but I think I might can get it for $3500. This is my 1st boat ever. Mainly getting it to pull my 3 and 6 year old around the lake. Price seems fair, but I don't know much. Thoughts?
