I think I messed somethign up...BAD
14 June 2004 - 02:34 PM
My battery went dead in my speedster. So, I replaced it and forgot to put one of the butterflies on the terminal. Well, the positive cable came off the terminal and blew a fuse. Problem is that whenever I replace the fuse, it blows before I can get the thing in. I've tried disconnecting the battery (and everything else is already turned off by the way) and then putting the fuse in, but when I reconnect the battery, it just blows the fuse again. Can anyone help me figure out what is shorted out and how to fix this? It wont' even start at the moment.
Fuel Pumps??
30 May 2004 - 12:52 PM
How many fuel pumps does a 1997 Speedster have. I can't tell by looking at it. I'm kinda hopeing it has two, that way I'll probably have my problem figured out.
HELP PLEASE!!!
30 May 2004 - 10:52 AM
My Speedster will start fine, idle fine and everything else just fine. However, once I give it throttle it will still do fine, but a little bit after I get up on plane, my left engine completely dies out (turns off). Does anybody have any idea what this could be. I was thinking it would be fuel related, but I don't even know if the boat has two fuel filters or what. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
Parts

Where can I go to find parts for my Sea Doo? There are Sea Doo dealerships in my state, but none for boats. The sites I checked out on this website did not lead me to any boat parts venders either. Any ideas? Btw, its a 1997 Speedster.
