I am the previous owner of the boat being discussed. I never had a problem with the boat even up to the point of delivery, First impressions are everything and when I met Dave I felt he was a trustworhty guy. So I don't believe he took the boat out, broke it and then hit me up for the bill. I told him the boat was ready for water, in fact I had it out on the lake cruising around for an hour or so the morning of the day I delivered it to him. Is this phenomenon something that would just all of a sudden give out, or would it just wear slowly until all of a sudden, bam, you fire up the motor and the last little thread it was hanging on finally breaks? Just curious...
I have been monitoring this discussion from dave's initial post, hoping, it would be just a short while before he was out on the water, because as we all know, there is nothing on the water anything like one of these boats!! I do not scam anyone! That is why I didn't say hey, you bought it as is, now deal with it. I am making good with him even as money is extremely tight at the moment, that is the only reason I sold the boat anyway. Surprise there are still a few of us honest fokes left in the world. Dave and I, I believe, are two of them.
Thanks by the way for all the help you gave him.
Just thought I would ring in.....
