Has any one been able to wake surf behind a 210 wake? If so, how did you do it?
2010 2010 SP, SKI MODE
27 August 2011 - 11:43 PM
Hello Everyone,
I just took out my new 2010 Sea Doo 210 Wake for one of the first times. The ski mode doesn't seem to work. When we set it and put the throttle to full speed, it just goes really slow. Does anyone know why it does that? I wonder if it's something wrong or if we are doing something wrong, but we read the manual and did everything it said to do.
Also, when filling up the ballast tank, it leaks right around the clamp area of the white pipe above the drain. It doesn't leak too bad but just enough for some dripping once the tank is getting fuller.
The stereo seems to power off and power back on when we are going full speed and a little bumpy. The thing about the stereo I don't like is when you turn the power off, it resets the volume so you have to turn it up to where you want it every time.
Has any of the above mentioned issues happened with anyone else?

My First Doo! 2010, 210 Wake (430HP)
21 August 2011 - 01:52 PM
Hello Everyone,
I am new to this forum. I was just approved for a brand new 2010, 210 Wake (430HP). I originally considered the Yamaha AR230 and AR210. This is where I fell in love with the jet drive. Then I did some further research and found that I loved the features of the Doo's better.
I just about got a 2011, 230SP until I saw the 2010, 210 Wake on the same lot. For the price I got it for, I couldn't pass it up. I got it for $38,000 brand new. Most of them right now are going for $42,000-$48,000.
I am supposed to go pick it up tomorrow (Monday) and sign all the doc's. Can anyone give me their thoughts on the 2010 version compared to the 2011 & 2012? I just want to make sure I am make a prudent decision and not regretting getting a newer version.
Thanks!
