Do you have mods? I have never got over 37 MPH with my 215. I also talked with Seadoo internal and they say that is as fast as it goes. Please confirm.

On the 2006 (this is the boat that I have) the fuses are mislabeled. The ICS and the Radio are on the same fuse (why I don't understand). This happened to me. I actually caught a fish in the ICS and it blew the fuse. The radio went out.
Check here and/or jetboating.net for proper fuse layout. Or, you can pop them one at a time to figure out which one is bad.

Unfortunately, I have to concur with @johnmaxmiller. I am in the process of replacing my entire engine core (long block) on my Seadoo Challenger 180 due to catastrophic failure in Cylinder 1 resulting in 90% compression failure. The bearings in the supercharger failed causing the supercharger to destroy itself. After this, a piston ring cracked causing oil to leak into the combustion chamber. The parts that broke off ended up in the engine causing oil and vital fluids not to circulate properly resulting in the engine failure. To fix it is going to cost $6750.
I put together a strong case with BRP corporate. The boat has 116 hours on it. The ceramic washers were replaced at 54 hours with the BRP titanium kit. At the end of last year, the supercharger was completely replaced with a drop in OEM unit costing almost $1400.
They told me that because the boat was 4 years out of warranty, they decided that they were not going to help me. They didn't even dig into what the cause or the problem was. They felt with failed compression that the only course of action was an engine replacement. Suprisingly, they now have a refurb factory that they are getting all of the old cores back and rebuilding them and then selling them to the next customer with a failed product. They are not really even dealing with any of the technical aspects of the failure with the customer. Apparently, if I had purchased the extended warranty (which still would have been expired) they would have considered it. Also, my dealer did not do an adequate job of reporting my failures over the years and hence BRP said there was "no history" of problems with my craft.
I have had problems every year. I fixed them as part of my maintenance cycle. I am planning to fix my boat, but I will NOT recommend any BRP product to anyone and WILL NEVER buy one again. In fact, I know many people that are in the market for boats and jet skis and I have started telling them the same thing.
If you buy one, expect to get no technical or financial support from them outside of the warranty. NONE.
BRP had two choices. Help the customer or tell them to "pound sand". They told me to "pound sand". I will tell them to "pound sand" when I buy NON-BRP products in the future. They should have made my situation right and they didn't. Shame on them and buyer beware (or at least be educated).

You could try looking at the parts manifest on Seadoo's site.

The fuse for this is under the dash. The fuse box on the 180 is mislabeled. To that end, on mine, the incorrect fuse was put in there. It should be a 20amp fuse. Then mine worked.
