Well after a year of looking I finally purchased a new left over 2011 230SE HO. This thing is a blast to run. I am very excited!! Today was the first day out and while looking things over I have noticed several of my cushions have the dreaded pink spots bleeding through!!!! I had this happen on my last boat and on several of my friends boats. Have any of you had this problem with your Sea-Doo's? If so did BRP come good to replace the cushions. The boat now has 2 hours on it and this is driving me crazy....
Other than the pink spots the boat is a lot of fun. I need to adjust the neutral position because it continues to move forward while in neutral and this was a little un-nerving this morning at the dock. Also my steering seems to be messed up. If I hold the wheel straight under power the boat goes to the port. I need to keep the wheel at least 90 degrees to the starboard to keep the boat going straight. The dealer tried to adjust this after we took it out for the test ride before I purchased it. They thought they had corrected it but it is not... Is there anything that I can measure?? Thank you for the help!

2011 or 2012?

I am looking at purchasing a new boat and am looking at the Challenger 230SE with the High Output supercharged engines. Are there any differences between the 2011 and 2012 boats? A dealer in my area has a new 2011 that I am sure the price would be less on but I would like to know if there are any big differences or options between the years. Thank you for any information that you can provide!!

Hello from Maine

Hello! I am looking at new boats and am considering the Challenger 230SE with twin HO motors. I have never been in or run a jet drive. I currently run a Python 24' which is a splash of the Pantera hull with a built 502 and Bravo X drive. I love the boat for speed(75gps) but it is a closed bow and I am getting tired of climbing over it and not being able to take more people with us. Any information that you can send my way on the challenger boats would be great! I am still wanting a boat that will do 60-65 so I can get down the lake when needed. What is a resonable price to pay for a 230SE? If anyone is in the Bangor or north area and wouldn't mind having a passenger for a ride that would be great. Thanks!
