BRP Service is horrible!!
02 August 2012 - 10:41 PM
Bought a 210SE in March (Demo model)... had many problems. boat has been bake to the dealer twice for recalls. The most recent recall took a month to get a part from BRP. Summer is so short in Canada, to spend a month in the shop for a recall due to parts availability is very upsetting. When i call BRP to complain, i am told "there is nothing they can do. Overall, i am not impressed with the boats build quality. I do think my PWC is built well... so maybe different assembly line??
Also had a problem with my Seadoo PWC. The supercharger failed 26 hours after a rebuild. It was done at the end of a season (so 6 month break in between = no warranty)...... when the supercharger failed, pieces entered the motor and trashed the complete unit (only has scrap value of $800 for a 2008 model RXT).... response form BRP.... mechanical items fail, nothing they can do!.... these bearing are supposed to last 200 hrs.
all work has only been done at a recognized dealer. I have been a Seadoo fans for years.... but I am starting to loose my love for the brand..
Very disappointed!!

is see conflicting numbers in the 200 speedster material. Can the boat do 0-30 in 2.1 seconds or 2.9 seconds? This will influence my purchase decision.
Thanks

Docking troubles
28 May 2012 - 08:34 AM
I purchased a 210se 430hp (2010 model) this weekend.
Comming out of a stern drive, I love the improved hole shot and tight conering!
However, I am struggling to dock. I can position the boat correctly, but as soon as I want to get the boat stationary, the rear starts to pull out, and if I don't correct quickly, I do a 360.
Is something wrong with my boat. Shouldn't neatral keep me in one spot? Am I just a bad driver, or something wrong with my boat?
