Engines toast..... estimate for repairs came up to close to 5 G.... so I got a rebuilt from SBT....
Anybody have anything to say about SBT?

Back in for repairs...
Spent a couple weekends on it and then the left engine stop turning.. It's been in the shop for two weeks and not sure I'm going to get it out this week.
They have to open it up and see if it's one of the pistons or crankchaft that's busted.... I looked at the previous owners invoices and noticed he changed two pistons in 2004 and all four in 2005..

Carburetor tune up would also be my first guess. New spark plugs and a throttle adjustment may also be something to look at!!

Starter had to be replaced.... that's it.. Left engine starter is located under the engine smack in the middle of the boat where water can collect and the mechanic figured the previous owner must have left the Doo for an extended period of time in the water. Water collected and the starter soak in it.... corroded and had to be rebuild. Anyhow took 2 weeks and 400$ to get it going again...
