Thanks for the link to that site, dug around there and found quite a bit of discussion of ethanol. The bottom line seems to be, it depends, on how old your engine, tank and hoses are, performance state of tune, etc. I guess we'll all find out as there isn't a choice for most areas.

I'm member 1,000. Bought a used Islandia recently and very happy to find this forum. Not new to boating, we have enjoyed coastal cruising, rivers and lakes in various parts of the country. Our home water is Lake Mead, USA's largest reservoir, created by Hoover Dam on the Colorado River. It's been in the 70's with no wind for the past few days, perfect if unseasonal Christmas weather.

Almost record temps. forcast for the news few days, great boating weather. Water level is still low making launching at some ramps difficult. We take our two dogs with us most of the time, they seem to like it.
