My oil tank is leaking where the fitting is at the bottom. IS this something that can be tightened without draining the tank. It isn't a lot, but it is making a mess out of my bildge. I had to clean the water sensor because it was coated with oil.
Thanks,
Rob

I'm pretty sure the fitting is supposed to just fit snugly in the rubber grommet at the bottom of the tank, so tightening is not an option. I don't know if you have ever had the tank out ( I have), but it isn't the easiest thing in the world to do. I would replace the grommet personally. My oil tank is leaking where the fitting is at the bottom. IS this something that can be tightened without draining the tank.
