I'm a new boat owner and I'm not sure what to expect as far as responsiveness goes. Maybe it was the current in the Upper Chesapeake Bay the last time I took it out, but it didn't seem to turn as well to the right as to the left.
Are there any adjustments that can be made to fix this if it continues to be a problem? To start with, I'm not even sure what makes a jet boat turn.

The nozzle at the rear shoots out a jet of water at high speed. this pushes the boat forward . To turn you rotate the nozzle back & forth via linkage or cables. With boat on trailer have helper turn steering full left then right while they count number of turns .From full left turn wheel 1/2 number of turns ,see if nozzle is pointing straight back. A jetboat does tend to side drift ,theres no lower unit hanging down acting as rudder . Hope this helpsI'm a new boat owner and I'm not sure what to expect as far as responsiveness goes.
