So, lets start the rumors....we've already heard about the 430hp Speedster....I've even seen it. What else do you think they will have next Year? The X-20 is due for a big change I'm sure.

My predictions: they remove the x-20 and changes the Mercury engines for new evinrude E-tce

That is the biggest disapointment on my boat, the gauges. A tach that only goes 90 degrees! With the availability of smartcraft on board, BRP really cheaped out on the gauge package.

new to sea doo boats, in fact haven't bought one yet but I'm planning on getting one next year; wondering how much they tend to change y/y? I've really got my eye on the 05 Sportster SCIC and love the black hull but I'm worried I won't be able to get one next summer, hopefully someone will shed some light on this concern.

If you want an 2005 SCIC it will have to be used, there are none at any dealer or the factory. We know because we bought all that we could last month and sold them almost immediatly! Also there will not be ANY Mercury engines next year, the Islandia and Utopia will get twin 4 strokes, we don't know what the horsepower will be yet. The Evinrude E-TEC will not be used as a replacement so we have been told.

You never know, but I think Sea-Doo would be nuts to not sell the Sportster SCIC again next year. As far as I can tell it has been wildly popular. I would have gone that route if I did not need more room (upgrade from a Sportster 4-tec, I went with the S200).

I know they will continue making the Sportster SCIC; I was just wondering what the colour scheme will be. I'll get a used one if I have to I suppose but prefer new.
