I bought a heavy duty tow rope to pull a 3 person seadoo float. One end of the rope is fatter than the other. Which end goes on the float end? Any help appreciated.

if it a 16 or 12 strand rope it will be spliced at both ends to form soft eyes ( assuming there is no nylon eye at one end) the fatter end i am assuming is where the splicing has been doubled up to increase strength - there will be more force applied at the tube end of the rope than the pylon end - all inflatables generally have reinforced webbing where they are attached to the rope, as this is the place where most forces are acting (particularly when cornering)
