I have a 96 speedster twin 85's, I noticed there is a divider in the output nozzle, I assume to strengthen it.. It is the only sea doo or far as that goes PWC I have seen with this divider.. The housing seems strong as any other model that doesnt have it.. This divider is a restriction of thrust and combined blocks about a 1/2" of output area.. Anyone ever removed this divider to see the performance improvement ? thanks

I am not sure of anyone who has attempted this yet, if you try it then please let us know if you notice a perfomance change.

Something tells me those dividers have more to doo with straightening out the water flow than strengthening the nozzle. Without the divider the water should be crockscrewing as it comes out the nozzle. I'm not certain what the effect of this would have. I'm surprised that all jetboats and PWC don't have the same design. But what do I know? I'm a nurse not an engineer. The nozzles cost $110 and World of Power Sports. If I could find a used pair cheap I might give this a try. What the heck! I already added a Trim Tab. :-)I have a 96 speedster twin 85's, I noticed there is a divider in the output nozzle, I assume to strengthen it..
