I would like to hear from others regarding their experiences with the 4-tec sportster 2005. I have had several problems since purchase last week. bilge pump, starter not working after running for a long time, and gas gauge malfunction. Thanks, Kris

My gas gauge isn't working either...two fills and it's still reading full. I haven't had it checked yet tho'...could be just a wire or connection issue. Other then that, my convenience lights cut out sometimes...especially the one in the bow. No troubles starting

only problems i have had is
throttle jumping into reverse
small issue with a ski rope
gas guage seems to be ok
its still early days though have only done 3.5hours
