We take our cam with us all the time, and haven't dropped it yet...... operative word is YET...got a cool bracket for mounting teh digicam on the boat to do movies of waterskiing etc - its a 'ultraclamp' made by pedco from redmond wa. can mount cam forward or backward if you clamp to ski-pylon - can anyone see any probs with this???

Great idea! How much was the camera mount alone? Is it a universal mount or specific to a camera brand?
