I own a 2000 SeaDoo Challenger 1800 with the 210 V-6 carb Merc. I just pulled it from storage to prepare it for the season. The battery was dead from last season, so we replaced it. Turned the main power switch on, went to crank the engine over, and nothing. I have power to all the other equipment (radio, horn, blower, lights, etc.) If I remember right, it seems like when you turn the key to the "ON" position, there is a short beep. There is not one now. Also, the fuel gauge should be active also. It is not. Could it be the lanyard switch has failed, or possibly the key switch itself. How do I test it. Has anyone else had this occur. Unitl now, the boat has been perfect. Please advise.

Now, is the shifter in the N position when you're trying to crank it? (stupid question)... I'm not a Merc guy, but maybe one can answer. I think we have a service manual for the 210 in our downloads section that may have some troubleshooting info....
