I think you are probaby going to need a modulator. The clarrion and/or sea-worthy stereos used by Sea-Doo don't have an aux jack on the front panel. I am not sure if one can be added, I did not see an "aux" input on my unit (clarrion). I picked up an head-unit for my car that had an aux input (1/8" plug) for my sattelite unit. I plan on using the modulator (FM) in my boat with the same sattelite unit.is anybody aware of any upgrade for the cd player which can play an ipod - this normally means having a 3.5mm jack plug to 2 phonos thru an aux input - but i dont know of any systems which give you this option - any ideas appreciated.

I'm actually replacing the stock deck (Clarion 235 as I remember) that came with the boat with the newer Clarion M455 Marine CD Receiver.is anybody aware of any upgrade for the cd player which can play an ipod - this normally means having a 3.5mm jack plug to 2 phonos thru an aux input - but i dont know of any systems which give you this option - any ideas appreciated.
This unit as the ceNet bus so you can hook up Clarions iPod interface (it has the "Ready for iPod" logo beneath the radio in the catalog).
This deck also allows you put install the remote controls which I play to put on the drivers side just in front of the throttle lever and at the back of the swim platform.
It also comes with an Aux Input (rear however) so if you can't afford the iPod interface you can still plug the iPod into it (just need to make a min stero plug to dual RCA or buy one anywhere).
Once I get it all done, I'll take pics.
