Ok, this last weekend on the local lake i had the opportunity to race a non SC model. I thought i would let everyone know the results.
off the line the difference was substantial ...very. Top speed seemed very close ...maybe 3 to 5 (tops) mph difference.
The difference was more than i expected and I personally would never consider the non SC as i was looking for max performance and the difference was worth every dime to me. I don't see anyone saving a few K to get the non SC in any event.
If they do come out with a SCIC version of the 200 I think top speed would be real close also however i wonder about the hole shot as it seems to cavitate some as it is with the current HP.

Sounds interesting, thanks for sharing. Tim what boat do you have again? You can select your boat model in your profile so it will show up for everyone to see in your signature.

I thought it was clear in the post. it's a 05 Speedster SC.Sounds interesting, thanks for sharing. Tim what boat do you have again? You can select your boat model in your profile so it will show up for everyone to see in your signature.
Also in the profile thing, there is no way to select the exact engine type. Since the only option for Supercharged engines shows to be SCIC and of course that means intercooled which we all know the Speedster does not have...yet.

My apologies, I was reading the post via a mobile phone so it was kind hard to read everything with the font so small.
I fixed the engine model.
