hi to everydone dooing...
its really great to be a lucky owner of a seadoo '97
speedster...and to have a group of people all out to
lend support...
i got my speedster just early this year with 71 hours
logged in...but i have used it for nearly 30 hours
already...
my wife and i just can't get enough of the rush...
unfortunately i ran into trouble last weekend's
use...while using the speedster a high piercing sound
went off...its a good thing i shut the engine
off...one of the engine was overheating...
can someone advice me the things i have to watch out
for in terms of warning sounds and all...i got the
speedster without a manual...
thanks hope to hear from anyone of you soon...
have a wonderful spring...

I have heard of the temperature senders going bad and causing the problem and the engine actually running within limits. Other things such as sand clogged cooling lines actually do cause overheating.
You can obtain a manual in .pdf format here in our downloads section, here is the link:

The beep codes are described in the troubleshooting section of the manual.
Welcome to the board and hope you enjoy your DOO!!
