I have just perchased a sportster 4-tec 155hp. Does anyone know the TRUE TOP SPEED (GPS) and fuel use. I have seen different test. Thanks

The top speed I have hit with GPS was between 46 and 47MPH. You can expect 4-5MPG at crusing speed (not at all bad for a boat). I think the fuel use and speed chart on boattest.com for the SCIC is very close to the 155. The top speed stops at 7000RPM on the graph (44MPH) , but the 155 will go at least 7200RPM, so my measured top speed is probalby right on (46-47MPH).I have just perchased a sportster 4-tec 155hp.
