Hi all, I purchased a 2006 Islandia, all is good except for an intermittent problem with return to idle on my port engine. Below 5200 rpm engine throttles up and down correctly. When I take it past 5200 rpm and return throttle to idle, the port engine sticks at 5200. The throttle cable and spring return appear to be functioning correctly. Is this just an internal gumming issue with old fuel that was in the boat? Suggest a fuel additive to clear this problem? Or do I have something else to worry about. Thanks in advance....
