I own a 08 challanger 180se with 10 hours .On the last outing last year this problem started. Boat was then taken to dealer, 10 hr. check done, boot on impeller replaced because it showed some damage. Boat starts and runs fine but will not do more the about 5000 to 6000 rpm at full throttle. The jet drive is clear. Boat also gives a beep that is random or at least seems to be. Put in water last weekend while backing away from ramp got beep followed by three or four more over about 4 or 5 min. No warning lights on panel. Beeps stop at that point. Drove about 10 minutes thur no wake zone with no beeps , boat still running fine. Out of no wake give full throttle rpms go up to 5500 and thats it. Boat is not on plane. If I hold full throttle rpm then drop to around 2500 to 3500. Try this 3 or 4 times same thing. At this point drive to swim area at 2000 rpms boat running fine. Try again after about 1.5 of swimming, same thing. Any ideas ????

Hi boatbuggy08,

Is your engine an SCIC? if so this is a classic sign of the supercharger ceramic bearings failing and the reason for your power loss. There should be many articles about this and what to do.
