Well, I can't give you any advice on this but I would sure like to know what others think about it since I also have twin 85 rotaxes on a '96 Speedster...Let me know what you find out. I would also appreciate any other upgrades you are aware of to increase plane, increase speed, etc. Thanks.I want to add trim tabs to my boat to make it more baby/wife friendly. With only 7' clearance on each side it doesn't look like Lenco tabs will work. I bought a set of Nauticus tabs, but decided I like dooing 360's. One solution might be to put a single trim tab under the center. The Place Merc kit is set up this way. There is plenty of clearance in the center. However, all the tab kits I've seen are sold as a set. Anyone have any ideas on this? I posted on the Jetboating forum, but most people there don't seem to have the twin 85's.
I'd appreciate any advise.
Thanks,
Robert

I'm thinking about mounting the tab so it angle up a bit went full retracted. This will make it a bit less likely someone will use it to as a step to get up on the swim platform. I don't think the tab being angled up when retracted will affect performance or water flow.
Perhaps I should think about mounting a ladder under my swim platform. Has anyone done this? Any advise?
