I just received a quote from the dealer that the first service, + winterizing, will cost about $200.00. Does that seem high? What does the first service normally include? I thought it was basic oil change, plus inspection.

I will be keeping my boat in a temperature controlled garage this winter, Is there any reason to have it winterized?

Maybe just add some fuel stabilizer so your gas doesn't go bad and get moisture in it. If you are going to fire it up a few times over the winter then you should be ok. I don't think I am going to winterize this year either since I now store my doo in my garage that is sealed, I will prob just pull it out a couple of times, hook the house up to it and run it for a good 10 minutes or so.

Even though kept inside, you would probably still need to perform the engine fogging ....I will be keeping my boat in a temperature controlled garage this winter, Is there any reason to have it winterized?
