I'm in the process of buying a Speedster but I have some reservations about the quality of skiing.
Currently I have a 17' ski boat with a 130hp outboard, it creates a nice big wake for wakeboarders. I'm concerned that the Speedsters will not produce a decent wake.
Can anyone give me some feedback from experience??

For wakeboarding, the extended pole gives a high tow point, and the wake has a decent shape, but it's just not very big. You can play with the boat speed and put heavy passengers in the back seat to give a little more kick. Also it does not plane well below 20 mph, so if you want to go slow the driver needs to fiddle with the throttles often.
With a really agressive skier, keeping a steady boat speed requires concentration to maintain within 2-3 MPH.
It aint no tournament ski boat, but it gets the job done pretty well. My buddy with a 190 hp I/O prefers my SK to ski behind, as doo I.
