Most of the winterizing guides I've read here say to remove the PTO housing and grease through the fittings. Should I assume there are already zerks there that a standard grease gun will fit? I can do that, but...
Where is the PTO housing and how do I get to it? The service manual has some good pictures and directions, but doesn't tell me where to look for it in the engine compartment. It talks about oil draining when I remove the housing -- is there a way to avoid that?
Do I need to remove some large-diameter hoses to get to the PTO housing?
Or this something that really needs to be done? I didn't do it last year 'cause I couldn't find it -- am I living on borrowed time because of that?
Oh, yeah. This is for an '07 150 Speedster with the Rotax 4-Tec 215 HP supercharged engine.
Thanks.
