Hello, New to the jet boat world. I bought a 2004 Sportster with 450 hours on it. The hull and engine are in great shape. The impeller and wear ring were brand new. The first time I had it on the lake it ate the wear ring. Long story short the shop I bought it from replaced the cracked pump housing with a new aluminum one (at my request). I have had the boat out 7 times since early August. After repairs the boat runs great. I have fixed or replaced many small bits and pieces just do the age and wear. I am a DYIer and love tinkering and have learned a lot about this boat in the short time I have owned it. I appreciate this site for the resources available. I'm sure I will use it! Thanks Alan

Welcome to the site! And welcome to enjoying the MN lakes just a little bit more!
You have a great area to ride up there. I have enjoyed via boat only once. Most of our time on the iron range is on sled or skiing at Giants Ridge!!
Again, welcome from the Fargo/Moorhead area!
