Hi Everyone,
I have a 1999 Speedster SK with twin 717 engines. I just rebuilt the starboard carb and now I'm having trouble syncing them up. The starboard engine will hesitate a bit compared to the port engine and then when it does catch up it will rev faster then the port. I just checked the pop-off on the starboard and it's at 48psi (manual says 38 +/- 12). My question is, does the pop-off psi need to be exact on both carbs? Does this just sound like a needle setting? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Joe
