WOO HOO congrats on the new DOO!!!
Pulling up to docks and land in a jetboat will definitely take practice and some getting use to. Just remember that you have to have throttle to keep your direction. I have found it easier to approach things at an angle (except when pulling on the trailer of course ), ease the bow into the dock and then let the natural flow of the water push the rear of the boat into the dock. You will just have to see what is most comfortable to you and it really depends on the conditions that you are boating in on how you can approach things.
I only boat in fresh water, I don't flush after use in fresh water. I just give a the boat thorough cleaning inside and out to get the grime off of the boat from being in the water. I really think the flush after every use is for those that put their DOOs in salt water. A flush every now and again surely coulnd't hurt though..
P.S. - Post some pics of your new DOO in the 'DOO Gallery' when you get a chance.

Congrats on your new Doo!
Whatever you do, take your time and learn your boat and how it behaves. Don't let anyone rush you at the launch or any other place. It's your money!!
I rinse my Doo down and flush everytime I have it in the water. I only doo fresh water, but I doo boat in a couple different lakes. My reason is to get rid of hitchhikers (zebra mussel for one) , and another reason is I doo beach the boat alot and doo it just to keep sand and trash out of the engines.
Practice, practice, and practice some more until you get used to approaching the dock with little effort........
