Pulling up to docks and land in a jetboat will definitely take practice and some getting use to. Just remember that you have to have throttle to keep your direction. I have found it easier to approach things at an angle (except when pulling on the trailer of course

I only boat in fresh water, I don't flush after use in fresh water. I just give a the boat thorough cleaning inside and out to get the grime off of the boat from being in the water. I really think the flush after every use is for those that put their DOOs in salt water. A flush every now and again surely coulnd't hurt though..
