Hi there, I am new to the site and learning about my jet boat (2001 Sportster LE)....at the end of summer last year while out inner tubing the boat suddenly lost power where it couldn't plane so I limped it back to the dock at 5mph (full throttle). I took the boat in and had the fuel filter's checked and cleaned/replaced and also had the carb's rebuilt. I was told the throttle cable was frayed so I had that done too. Took the boat out yesterday, throttle cable was too loose to engage (nice!)...but I was able to adjust this...however the boat still tops out at 10 mph barely getting to a plane...any ideas as to what's going on?
