My lovely plastic ignition switch (3 way?) on my 2004 Utopia 205 (250) is very squirrely. I'm having a hard time keeping it from turning when starting the engine.
I was planning on replacing the plastic one with a metal 3 way switch, so I can tighten it down properly, from West Marine but after looking at the replacement parts available for my boat, it seems there is only an ignition assembly for over $300.
Can i replace with a $40 ignition switch, gorilla glue the whole thing so it doesn't turn any more or buy the assembly?
Thanks in advance!

Martin,
I would try the "gorilla glue" option first. If that does not work then try the more expense option. Keep us posted.
