Boat felt like intake was clogged, all I found was small piece of wood stuck to impellar

Hi there, Just wondering if this could have caused the problem. I first looked under the boat while still in the water, but did not see anything. I could only go under 2000 RPM's without a noticable vibration and funky sound. Have had this numerous times from a stuck intake grate, but the wobble was new. Found a piece of wood stuck to the impellar. Has this happened to anyone and would this have caused it. Thanks so much. Don't want to spend a lot of cash if that piece of wood caused the problem

A piece of wood can cause more damage than you might think. We had to put a new wear ring in our new boat because of a piece of wood, http://seadoosportbo...e-bogging-down/. What kind of shape is your wear ring in?
